The days of standing in line and waiting to be served at a bank branch are over. Time is precious! So managing your banking business through a handy personalised App on your phone or through our equally agile website on your computer has been developed and is now readily available.

You may argue that our competitors already offer this service. You would be wrong. Currently, all digital banking offered on the Island is an unnecessary hybrid mix of traditional and digital banking. We have gone one massive step further.

Our ANSA Bank App offers tailor-made advice and support. Enabling our customers to manage their finances easier and effectively without making unnecessary contact with us at the bank. We want to 'unthink banking', making financial management smarter and our clients' experience less stressful and more pleasurable.

Another essential part of our new pioneering ANSA Bank approach is the function we have given our physical branches. These ANSA Bank Points have been designed to stimulate visitors to rethink traditional banking. The space, or points, will feel more like a lounge than a bank. The crew who greet customers will be different from what they would expect. We focus on being valued as a place where customers can get help and become more digitally savvy. Some transactional services will remain, but the overriding focus will be that the new ANSA Bank will be perceived as being 'digital first'.

In short: the new ANSA Bank helps our customers gain control over their own finances. Instantly bringing banking on the Islands into the modern era.

David Dulal-Whiteway

Chairman

Mr Dulal-Whiteway is a Senior Banking Executive with over 25 years of Financial Services industry experience, including many years as the Managing Director/CEO of the largest bank in Trinidad and Tobago.

As CEO of the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business, he is committed to inspiring and equipping his fellow citizens to follow their dreams whilst contributing to the growth of our nation.

Kathleen Galy

Ag. Managing Director

Mrs Galy began her banking career more than 19 years ago at Credit Suisse First Boston, Miami Office. She joined ANSA Merchant Bank in 2003, heading the retail and marketing arm. In her role as Head of Retail and Commercial Lending of the new ANSA Bank and Member of the founding Board of Directors.

Mrs Galy is passionate about helping her customers solve their life challenges and has been appointed Acting Managing Director of ANSA Bank as of June 24th, 2022.

Susan Torry

Chief Operating Officer

Mrs Torry brings forty-one years of banking experience to ANSA Bank.

For most of her career, she fulfilled various leadership roles at one of the Caribbean’s leading financial institutions. She took on the task of General Manager in Trinidad and Barbados for many years.

With her depth of financial knowledge and professional experience, Mrs Torry oversees the development of our products and services.

Hema Ramdass-Chatoor

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Mrs. Ramdass-Chatoor has enjoyed a successful career spanning over 20 years in senior positions mainly within the Financial Sector as well as in Media. Her most recent role was as CFO/Company Secretary at Guardian Media Limited where, as team leader of a large finance department, she was responsible for the overall integrity of financial information for GML and the 15 brands in its portfolio.

She is driven to bridge critical financial and operational information by making actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.

Kirk Henry

Chief Digital Officer

Mr. Henry has built a track record over the last 20 + years in the financial sector at various levels for designing, building, and deploying IT solutions to solve business challenges. He operated as the CEO of the National Information and Communication Technology Limited (iGovTT) where he was recognized for turning around the fortunes of iGovTT over the last few years and particularly during the current pandemic.

As CDO for ANSA Bank, he is committed to spearhead Digital transformation, implementation, and management of all digital facets of the bank.

Our colleagues

ANSA Bank’s branches will be staffed by experienced retail bankers.

Some of our colleagues are moving over from ANSA Merchant Bank to join our team. Others have valuable experience gained in various financial institutions in Trinidad & Tobago and further afield in the Caribbean region. All are experienced in day-to-day banking operations.

ANSA Bank offers a unique APP & Banking Portal, as well as a dedicated phone and email Customer Service for those who prefer not to travel to our Branches.
